What is PESAKA?

Introduction

The Keriam Malay Association Tutong in short “PESAKA” is one of the youth organisations in Brunei Darussalam. This association was established on April 1st, 1960 and it has around 300 members comprised the people in this village called Kampong Keriam. This assocaition also is one the oldest affiliated member of the Tutong District Youth Council and was known as one active association in Tutong district and overall in Brunei Darussalam.

PESAKA aims is to instill and to promote a strong cooperation and scoial strength among the people in the village especially the younger generation or youth and It also promotes economic strength within it members towards the progress and prosperity of the people in this village. Apart of that its also aim to achieve the objectives of the National Youth Development Policy of Brunei Darussalam in accordance with our nation vision and inline with moto “Our Youth is Our Future”.

Since fourty three years PESAKA was established, this association has shown it very well progress in organizing various activity which benefit to it members and the pepople of this village. The activities organized in various area such as cultural, sports, social, economic and education leading towards the progress and prosperity of the people, especially the young generation.
